My Background
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, which gave me a strong technical foundation and a problem-solving mindset. After graduation, I explored various roles that taught me resilience, leadership, and adaptability.
I began my career as a Supervisor at Shell, where I developed operational and team management skills. Later, I worked as a Technical Support Engineer for a U.S.-based company, deepening my understanding of customer needs, troubleshooting, and technical systems.
Each role shaped me, but none truly aligned with my passions. That led me to a pivotal question:
“What do I really want to do?”
My Turning Point
I’ve always had a passion for tech and creativity. Initially, I aspired to become a Front-End Web Developer—I loved building and improving websites. But as I explored the digital space further, I discovered something that truly sparked my interest: Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
SEO combined everything I enjoyed—analytics, strategy, creativity, and problem-solving. I was fascinated by how thoughtful optimizations could lead to real, measurable growth in online visibility. I knew I had found the path I wanted to pursue.
To solidify my skills and gain deeper insights, I enrolled in comprehensive SEO training programs through PinoySEO.ph and SOVA. Under the mentorship of Rene Leandro Padilla, one of the most respected SEO experts in the Philippines, I learned hands-on techniques and strategies—from technical SEO and on-page optimization to analytics and client reporting.
These programs didn’t just teach me the fundamentals—they gave me the confidence to move forward with clarity and purpose.
That’s when I made a bold decision:
To leave the traditional employment route behind and focus full-time on freelancing as an SEO specialist.
